Nearly ten years have passed since Millie Bobby Brown first portrayed Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things. Since that time, she has been recognized as one of the world's most influential individuals, starred in seven major films, and launched her own beauty and fashion line.
The 21-year-old icon has managed to find time in her busy career to marry Jake Bongiovi, 23, and adopt a daughter into their well-known family.
The celebrity duo, who marked their first wedding anniversary just last weekend (September 21), recently expressed their love for one another on social media. Millie wrote: “1 year married. I love being your wife.”
In response, Jon Bon Jovi’s son commented: “One year in the books, many more to go. I love you so much, my beautiful wife. Happy anniversary.”

After marrying Jake, the Enola Holmes star announced she would add her husband's last name to her own, thus becoming Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi.
But did you know that’s just her stage name?
Similar to Katy Perry, Emma Stone, and Reese Witherspoon, Millie uses a pseudonym in the entertainment industry.

Famous individuals often change their names for various reasons.
For instance, David Tennant adopted a new name because someone else with the same name was already registered with the actor’s union Equity.
Miley Cyrus was originally named Destiny Hope Cyrus, but legally changed her first name due to her childhood nickname ‘Smiley’.
In Millie’s situation, her middle name, ‘Bobby’, is more of a playful fabrication.

While promoting Netflix’s Electric State, she informed Buzzfeed UK that her middle name was created in tribute to her father, real estate agent Robert Brown.
As it turns out, Millie’s full name is actually Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi.
During the interview, she told her co-star Chris Pratt that she changed it to ‘Bobby’ just for fun and amusement.

Social media buzzed when the now mother-of-one shared this revelation back in March, with one Twitter user saying: “Imagine being famous enough to change your own name just for fun.”
“Smart move because I would ignore Millie Bonnie Brown,” another person commented.
A third added: “That’s hilarious! Millie Bobby Brown certainly knows how to keep things entertaining and unexpected. ‘Bobby’ has a nice ring to it, though—it seems to have worked out well!”

Millie is set to make her return to television later this year when the fifth and final season of Stranger Things premieres on Netflix.
For the first time, this beloved science fiction series will be released in three separate volumes throughout November and December 2025.
Four episodes will be released on November 26, three more on Christmas Day, and the final episode will air on New Year’s Eve.
Discussing her return, Millie stated that season five is her ‘favourite’ season of Stranger Things to date, describing it as the ‘best storytelling’ she has ever been involved in.
