Priscilla Presley details ‘unhappy’ final memory of ‘sexual intimacy’ with Elvis

Priscilla Presley has openly shared her 'unhappy' last memory of 'sexual intimacy' with Elvis.

The two met when she was just 14 and he was 24, a decade older, during his service in Germany with the US Army.

They eventually married in 1967, when Priscilla was 21, and soon after, they learned she was pregnant with their daughter, Lisa Marie, who tragically passed away in 2023.

Throughout their relationship, Elvis was unfaithful to Priscilla, yet he was deeply angered when she left him in 1973 following her affair with her karate instructor, Mike Stone.

Priscilla has stated that her affair was not the reason she left.

In her newly-released book, Softly, As I Leave You, published today (23 September), Priscilla revealed that when Elvis learned about Stone, he 'forced' himself upon her.

“Elvis made love to me forcefully, not forcibly,” she wrote. “His usual tenderness and care for me were absent. It was emotionally painful, and it left me with a sad memory of my last experience of sexual intimacy with Elvis.

"But that was not why I left."

She recounts that Elvis then asked his close friend, Joe Esposito, to find a hitman to target Stone, but he was eventually calmed down.

"Though it was difficult, I never regretted my decision to leave Elvis. Yet, I never stopped mourning it," the 80-year-old reflected.

After her divorce from Elvis, Priscilla remained with Stone until 1975 and later had an on-and-off relationship with model Michael Edwards from 1978 to 1984.

She then entered a long-term relationship with screenwriter Marco Antonio Garibaldi, welcoming her second child, Navarone, with him in 1987.

The couple were together from 1984 to 2006.

Elvis also did not remarry after divorcing Priscilla, but he had a four-year relationship with Linda Thompson from 1972 to 1976 before getting engaged to Ginger Alden, his girlfriend at the time of his death in 1977.

Elsewhere in her memoir, Priscilla talked about the heartbreaking moment she had to take her daughter Lisa Marie off life support.

"I thought about my girl, my wild, rebellious, passionate girl, lying in a vegetative state for the rest of her life," she said.

"I said what I had to. 'Take her off the machine, Doctor.' My voice was barely above a whisper."
